Jillian Matlock leaves a high-tech job to become a farmer in Northern California and meets Colin Riordan who is at loose ends after surviving a helicopter crash. The small town welcomes them both and Colin finds he can paint. Jillian knows he wants adventure so encourages him to seek his dreams even though it means he will leave her.
