I gave this work 3 out of 5 stars. It is a nice little cozy historical romance. If you are looking for an indepth look at the time period this is probably not your book. However, if you are looking for something pleasant to read on a dreary afternoon this would be a good pick.
I enjoyed the story and when it was over I wanted to know the rest of the story. If there is a sequel I'll probably pick it up.
