As many of you know, a name can do alot for you. But, can one name open alot more doors? That's what Joanie thinks. She's having it rough.He ex-fiance Michael is getting married, she loses her job and she's evicted from her apartment. All because of the name Jennifer. Why do all the girls named Jennifer get their way? They get the guys and look perfect all the time. So, Joanie decides that it's time for her to become a Jennifer. Starting with Jennifer lessons. She's going to change her image and take lessons to become a Jennifer. But, when she becomes a Jennifer, will everything go as planned?
I laughed through out this book. It sends a great message and shows you that even if your name isn't Jennifer, being yourself is the way to go. It's easy to identify how Joan feels, especially if you've ever felt down and out about yourself. But, the question remains, can you ever change yourself to be someone that you're not, even if you take really good lessons? If you do change, will the ending change for you?
