When Savannah von Hopf receives a call from her uncle saying he is in trouble and needs $250,000, she has no choice but to approach Ken "Wildcard" Karmody for help. He is a Navy SEAL and can surely keep her safe from the terrorists in Indonesia. But the meeting doesn't go as planned. Savannah and Ken end up in bed where the last thing on her mind is telling him about her uncle. The next day when Ken finds out, he is furious that she lied to him. But he refuses to let Savannah go to Jakarta on her own. Soon they are met by gun wielding drug runners who want the ransom money she is carrying. Running through the jungle with various rebels on their heels, Ken and Savannah must find a way to escape this nightmare.
This is the fourth book in Suzanne Brockmann's Troubleshooter series. After I read each book I declare that it is the best in the series. This book is no different. It has great characters, a lively WWII back story, and non-stop action. Ken and Savannah are both great characters. Once again we have more of Sam and Alyssa's ongoing story arc. We were also introduced to new characters in the series, Molly and Jones. Their story kept me glued to the page. I highly recommend this book (and the whole series). My rating: 5 Stars.
