Life in New York has grown too dangerous. So when faced with only 2 toptions - a life in a brothel or becoming a mail-order bride, Emily Foster chooses the latter and moves to Sanctuary, MT. After all, the ad states she'll have 6 mos. to make her decision, and by then, surely she can find a way out of the marriage agreement. Adam Jacobs has been wonunded deeply. He's angry with God, angry for lost dreams, angry for his wounded pride. When his best friend arranges for a mail-order bride, it's the last straw.
