Pure delight. I'd seen most of these cartoons when they came out (at least the ones from New Yorker), but I find them just enjoyable the second... or third.... or fourth time around. That's not true of all cartoonists' work, but Ms. Chast's humor goes beyond the one-joke/one-laugh sort. Her tableaux open up whole new imaginative worlds.
