This is not a creepy book, in the traditional horror sense, so if you are looking to be spooked you'll probably be disappointed, or perhaps not. I was looking to be spooked, but instead found myself fascinated by the real-world examples of modern exorcisms. I liked reading about the motivations of the Catholic church and the men who dedicated themselves to something they saw as a real ministry. Although I am a Christian, I'm not completely convinced about the validity of demon-possession; this book definitely gave me something to mull over long after I finished.
