This was a sweet and lovely book. I've wanted to read it for some time, and just had never taken the time. It was laugh-out-loud funny in places, and then sad and sorrowful in others. I found myself shaking my head in agreement as I recognized the frustrating and sometimes hilarious pitfalls of raising a high-spirited dog. This is a fun read, and would be a great book for prepubescents as well.
