Continuation of the story begun in Lirael. Lirael has discovered that she cannot See forward like her people the Clayr, nor can she be Seen by them, but she is a Remembrancer who can See backwards in time. Her special powers and those of her friends will be needed to stop Orannis the Destroyer from ending all of Life.
