Alyson Noel is a wonderful writer! Her stories are pure fantasy but is so beautifully written and provokes the reader to think back to links in the previous books. No loose ends her her story and each piece fit perfectly!
In the third installment of the Immortals Series, more character development is presented. Damen and Ever's multiple past lives come full circle again as another piece of their history resurfaces. Although a few reviewers have said that this story is stale and lacks a plot, I beg to differ. It pulls together a story that the first two books started. Sadly I think people dare to compare this series to the Twilight series and it's not comparable. Ever story has the same elements but it's up to the author to fill the book with fillers that give us the thrill of the read.
The thrilling part of this book is the introduction of Jude, a golden haired surfer boy with Dreads, that runs the local store that Ava use to work at as a Psychic. The energy between Ever and Jude are electric, but where does that leave the love story of Damen and Ever!! Does their chemistry interfere with the meant to be soul mates???
All and all, this is a 4/5 star book. A true Immortal's fan will see this book for what it's worth. An important piece of the puzzle. If you are just along for the ride to compare it to TWILIGHT then get off the boat and read some other series.
