I have not read the Guardian series, so although this is book one for this series, I felt like I was starting in the middle of something. I care enough to read the next book because this ended with a sort of cliffhanger, but it's not one for my keeper shelf. I was surprised by the multiple love interests for the lead character and the multiple partner sex scene.
