My rating is based on flipping through it. The authors are women with extraordinary experience, Ms. Uhrenholdt having worked on a freighter after leaving the farm. Ms. David won the Gracie Allen Award. These people are environmentalists, are interested in sustainability, and have consulted many experts. Example: "The best way to introduce new foods to kids is never to mention it." Mario Batali. They have talked the Huffington Post into a weekly posting of fresh topics for dinner conversations.
Chapters range from why family dinners matter to great games for after dinner. Fast Recipes, Your Green Table, and Family Dinner After Divorce. Quite a few illustrations and considerable text, interspersed with recipes.
Bibliography, index.
