Just finished reading this and am FLOORED. A masterpiece.
Do not expect anything light-hearted or entertaining; 1984 is amazing but more something to appreciate than enjoy. You'll be re-reading chapters, looking up words, and staring into space as you try to digest what you just read.
Also, there are a few s*x scenes and a good bit of violence and gore. Probably not the best thing to read right before you go to bed if those trigger you... yet it's so good you won't be able to put it down!
