Wonderful novel! The characters had a variety of powers, seemed much more real and they were mortal! Not the same old immortal vampire story, which of course I enjoy as well, but this book was like a breath of fresh air compared to the other paranormals I've read. It reminded me of a Matrix story in a Harry Potter setting. I will look for the next in the series by this author.
