Story: 3 stars
Romance: 4 stars
Overall Rating: 3.5 stars
This books started a little slow, but gathered steam and finished strong. The premise is the transformation of a former brothel into a "finishing school" for ladies who want to learn the more sensual aspects of catching a husband. Of course, this is ironic as the headmistress is an unmarried lady herself and knows practically nothing about sensuality or sexuality.
She hires our hero whom she mistakenly believes has responded to her ad for a nude male model for her students' art class. When he also "instructs" on the proper method of a seductive kiss, she is lost.
Meanwhile, there is a duchess attempting to force another man to offer marriage to our heroine. At the end, we finally learn the duchess has an underlying motive for her actions--and they are not altruistic!
I enjoyed this book better than the last I read by this author and would consider them light and entertaining.
