This is the story of an obese, retired man, Greg, who leaves his home in a rented RV to find his missing son, whose drug addiction has been a source of constant concern for many years. Greg is armed with a bag of food from the refrigerator and the knowledge that he will stop at White Castle for a bag of hamburgers. He goes to the home of his first wife and the mother of his son in Florida and then on to his father's apartment in an assisted living facility searching for his son. There is no news of his son. As he travels, he is besieged by painful memories of his life as a child, a husband and father. This is a powerful cautionary tale about the epidemic of addiction happening in America, which runs the gamut from drugs to alcohol to food to entertainment to instant gratification.
