I'm a huge fan of PA books... post nuke especially. If you're looking for a book that talks about what life is like after a limited nuclear exchange in the typical PA sense (searching through the rubble, dealing with fallout, etc), this isn't for you.

IF--you want a story with great characters and a gripping story and some interesting plot twists (and some easy to follow militarty strategy thrown in) this is a book you should check out.

I'll say now that war books (details of battles, strategy, etc are not my cup of tea. However this book was very interesting, and kept my attention without going too into the blah blah of the military technology and strategy. Not that there's non--its just simple, blended into the telling well, and adds to the storyline vs impeding it.

An excellent book for PA fans (note there has been a limited exchange and are nukes set off in the battle) who don't need hard PA action like "The Road, Malevile or Warday" to be happy.
