This is one of the sweetest Christmas stories i have ever read. It is told "straight from the dogs mouth" and awfully sweet. I found it quite a unique read. I loved the story, about a puppy that was afraid of the loud sound of gun shot and so could not hunt and was given away. But he was determined to be the best puppy ever and told from the dogs point of view. This is an adult story and filled to the brim with love. Written by a grandfather for his grandson who wanted a rather large puppy and his mom was thinking smaller was better. Ms O'Rourke published the written story after her husband passed on. Full of lessons of love it is to say the least. I don't think there will be to many who pick this up that will not enjoy it. It was wonderful.
