Entire Book: I'm giving this 3.5 stars. I thoroughly enjoyed every story. Unlike some kitten theme anthologies, each story really had a cat as part of the plot.

I always seem to read these collections out of order. In this case, the one I read first, the middle story MISTLETOE KISSES by Jeanne Savery, ended up being my favorite. Purrmew had a great personality as did both lead characters. My only complaint is that a mystery plot point introduced about midway through the story overrode the developing relationship in the second half or I would have liked this one even better.

I read A CACHE OF MAGICAL KITTENS by Judith Lansdowne last. The hero is not your typical alpha and that did take some getting used to. There was also more time spent with the hero and the heroine's child than the two leads together. While not as romantic or couple focused as I would have liked, it was nevertheless an enjoyable read.

In the last story, NOEL'S CHRISTMAS WISH by Donna Simpson, the cat Noel was rather mean at times and the heroine extremely cranky. What somewhat made up for these was the hero. He was terrific. One of the best personalities I've read.

While I don't consider this one a keeper, it did make for several enjoyable evenings and I will look forward to reading more from each of these authors.
