A stimulating book. I dare you to read this and not think about what Malcolm Gladwell says in the book. In short he says there's no such thing as self-made man. We often think success is measured by IQ and hardwork. While those are two important factors in individual success, the value of hardwork is limited because certain people have extraordinary opportunities that others with the same IQ and work ethic don't. We benefit from what month of the year we're born, where, what family we're born into, the location, the time period, etc. This concept applies to Chinese math students, geniuses, Canadian hockey players, Jewish lawyers, etc.
