I have a more detailed review on the book over his 2nd half of his life but this was a very interesting read and I found it very easy to stay absorbed in. It really paints a pictre of what his life was like in post civil war america as a black man. It is a cool viewpoint because he passed as white for part of his life and saw both sides of the coin and it really showed his integrity and ethics from an early age and how passing questioned those for him. Very good Read.
