Another good China Bayles mystery. Has earlier characters like Ruby and McQuaid plus new ones too. Story about a cold case file, documentary, sleuthing, lawyers and of course west Texas. Good tips about herbs and recipes from China and McQuaid kept it interesting and me guessing sometimes to the end. There is also info on dangerous plants in our own yards.
