This series is very difficult to review without giving out spoilers. Let's just say it's worth the read, and a previous reviewer was correct---don't even start this one until you have _Shadowfever_ (or an ereader and an extra $12). I finished this at 1 in the morning and immediately, no second thoughts, reached for my Kindle and downloaded the next book because I had to know if what I thought happened in the cliffhanger was really the outcome.
