A shallow, self-absorbed woman with a book advance writes about a long vacation. I did not like the main character at all and after reading this cetainly don't plan to see the movie. Plus, as I understand it she milked it for a sequel with her lover turned husband.

This woman reminded me of the woman who wrote Julie and Julia (Julie Powell), another self-absorbed woman whose book I did not enjoy.
