Robin Lee can't stand her parents constant fighting, so she spends a lot of time with her grandmother in San Francisco's Chinatown. They adopt a lonely cook and pretend to be his family. But Robin just can't stop pretending and things get pretty sticky. Written for older elementary school age, this book makes learning about another way of living fun.
