Having seen the movie, I had some idea what to expect. The love story aspect was much stronger in the book than in the movie as well as the overall detail level. There definately wasn't as much action. I understand having read the book why they changed/added a few things in the movie. There would've needed to be a narrator in the movie to communicate a lot of what was going on in the head of Bella. In addition making her an utter and total klutz probably wouldn't have brought the average viewer into the movie quite a much. I really enjoyed the book and am now reading #2.
