Picked up a book 'Dead Harvest' by Jeanette Battista and Tracey Phillips, was a great book unfortunately was self published and doesn't appear to have a second in the works. The 2 main characters are seemingly average women but they come together because they are both not all together human. One is an escapee from an insane asylum that sees monsters that no one else does. She has anger issues and when in a rage changes to a larger and stronger version of herself the other is a woman living in the underworld and can work magic. When they meet they form a team of unlikely detectives. There was humor and action and really made you want to follow them to see what they really were. There weren't allot of answers in this book but twists and turns and hints of future exploits Demons and magic mirrors. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I will keep my eye out for future books, she does have another few books out that seem to be a series.
