I love the Mallory series. Carol O'Connell is one of the best writers in this market today. Not only a strong storyteller, but she really writes well! Also recommend you begin at beginning of series...unlike many writers who spend 1/2 the book clueing you in on what happened in previous books, the reader is left on their own to understand much of the undercurrents that go on here...maybe that's one of the reasons I like it so much!
