Usually I am not into sexually explicit books or stories told in the first person, But this book was really put together well. The sexuality in this books seems to argue the point about "free love". The first person POV seems necessary to capture the character's perception of her surroundings and the events she underwent. by using the first person POV Jacqueling Carey was able to draw her readers into experiencing the tale as the main character experienced it. This was a real page turner that left you wanting more and longing to know what would happen next. This style is carried on the second book in this series.
