First let me say that I have read every book by Lisa Gardner and she is an excellent author and this book is no exception. It is well researched, well written, gripping and heart pounding. However, I am a new mom and found the whole theme of pedophilia and child molestation very hard to take (the spiders did not bother me as much). I can see that other reviewers felt the same way. But it really says a lot about Gardner as an author that she can provoke this type of emotional response. I did enjoy revisiting Kimberly and to a lesser extent Rainie and Quincy (who are two of my favorite all time characters). So if you are a Gardner fan and can prepare yourself for a hard read then go for it!
