Book Review of Tribulation Force: The Continuing Drama of Those Left Behind (Left Behind, Bk 2)

This is a great book if you believe in dispensational pretribulational premillennialism. This is what happens, according to Jenkins and LaHaye during the time after the pretribulational rapture of the church--the event where all Christians dead first then those still alive are caught up to heaven to be with Christ until they all come back at the beginning of the Millennium. So the characters here are attempting to thwart the devices and efforts of the evil Anti-Christ who is a fellow named Nicolae Carpathia, the former President of Romania. Carpathia becomes United Nations Secretary General after the rapture and calms everybody down. According to the dispensationalists, the 'tribulation' lasts seven years before the battle of Armegeddon. The first 3 1/2 years are Carpathia's reign as supreme potentate. Have fun with this, but remember this book is a work of fiction.
