This is the first of a three book series, and while the normal size for a manga, it is only a single 'chapter' followed by a prologue. Yes.... there is a prologue AFTER the story.

The story seems decent enough (beyond the violence and quite a fair amount of nudity) though it comes off more as an imitation of the Matrix. In the first few pages, it shows that the main character has 'magical' powers over computers, which seems to surface with random computer monster tentacles coming out of walls and the ground to kill people, and occasionally do what one would expect tentacles in a manga to do.

The prologue actually explains the back story, sort of, but is rather fragmented in it's delivery. Also, it doesn't explain why machines are being controlled the way that they are in the story. (Unless nukes are just being used as a throwaway excuse, which is rather a weak cop out.)

Still the premise is decent enough so far, it will be interesting to see how it will progress.
