I LOVE the Penderwicks! Oh my goodness I just don't know how each one can be just as good as the last one. I cannot get enough of these wonderful characters. No other book could only write about two weeks and not have me annoyed at the end for only covering such a short period. This has me beaming and ready to start the next Penderwick story. The new characters were well introduced and it was like you were watching the sisters grow up right before your eyes. There is a simplicity and complexity to these sisters at the same time. You are reading about them being young and carefree while facing real and life changing events (new friendships, first kisses, emotional roller-coasters), all while wishing you were in the story right along with them. I love this series.
