I love this New Species series. It sucks me in from page one and I end up reading the entire book in less than 24 hours.

Having said that, this book lacked huge in the ending (however it still sucked me in). I loved both the primary and secondary characters and the fact that Trisha got pregnant when the New Species didnt think they could. But through the book she is worried about how fast the pregnancy is progressing and the size of the fetus, and then the book ends with her about 12 weeks pregnant, so you never experience the pregnancy with her. I do understand that maybe in book #3 well hear that she had the baby and all was well.but I just felt jipped. For me, there could have been much less of the New Species hate groups coming after the New species and a bit more about the pregnancy or more time having elapsed so you could have experienced more of the pregnancy.
I'm reading book #3 in the series now, and Trisha has the baby in that book.
