Of the 4 Dan Brown books so far, this is one of the two involving the government - not the two with the Church. Hence less controversial - NOBODY trusts the government! :-) It features a DIFFERENT college professor as the action adventure hero (Not Langdon but a linguist rather than symbologist)and has the incredible fast paced constantly-changing action that really keeps tuned in to "Who do I trust now?" A great read, a MUST for anyone interested in codes, (either computer or secrecy) and encryption. Plu I loved it!
