In Paris, Pasha Duras rescues Beatrix Grosvenor from a compromising situation, & becomes her protector & lover. He sees her home to England, meets her son, falls in love, but wont admit it. He goes off to Greece to fight in their war, while she is persecuted by the bad guys. She follows him to Paris, then to Greece; complications arise.
