Speaking both from the perspective of both an older and younger pokemon fan, this is a very fun book to have around. Each pokemon in the kanto generation has it's own page with detailed stats. However, it's purely a novelty: it treats pokemon like real, biological creatures, and therefore isn't a lot of help for card or paraphernalia collectors. But nevertheless, still worth-while for a fun look-through.
