A small but excellent collection of John Ruskin's exquisite drawings, architectural and natural. Many were "studies," that is, explorations of lines, colors, shadows, and relationships often overlooked even by photographs. Not surprisingly, he used these and other in teaching art at Oxford in the mid and later 1800's. Worthwhile commentary with each piece. Quality book and print production, jointly by the Ashmolean Museum and Christie's of London.
It literally made me see things differently.
