I read this along time ago, it was the first book I read by Stacey Ballis. I really loved it. I thought I should finally do a review.
Stacey Ballis, is a foodie, that lives in Chicago, and is BFFs with Jen Lancaster another author.
I am not aware of SBs weight but she does write about weight and health that seems personal and real. Mel, our main character has lost 145 pounds for her health, and lost her husband to a woman who is also very large.
Mel starts cooking, and creating. She takes in, a lost 24 year old, with a past. Together they find themselves and find a business that will thrive.
I dont want to admit that this is one of my all time favorite books, it moved me. I realize there are Live changing pieces of literature out there, but this one was worth my time. I would read it again, and I dont read books twice.
