I wasn't sure about this series until the second book (The Good, the Bad, and the Undead), which I really enjoyed. But with this third book I am hooked on Kim Harrison and Rachel Morgan's adventures. The plot is fast paced, Rachel continues to grow as a witch and a character, and I really like the new characters in her life. Most importantly, Rachel is starting to struggle with questions of good and evil, and what kind of person she wants to be.

Great book and a great read. I think the Hollows is becoming as real and vivid as Rawling's Hogwarts world.
