As with all the Mitford books, we thoroughly enjoyed this one, too! We are looking forward to the next book in the series.
Also, having just read that Jan Karon credits the "Miss Read" books as an inspiration, that explains the feeling of peacefulness that I have always had reading Mitford. Having read the "Miss Read" books eons ago, it now all makes sense!
