The John Puller Series is a good one and this one is no exception.

John is an Army Investigator and his father, a retired 3-Star General suffering from dementia is apparently accused of murdering his wife 30 years ago. She had disappeared without a trace.

John and his brother, an Air Force Major, take on the cold case of trying to find out what really happened to their mother, despite the Army's objection.

Introducing Paul, a man who was part of a secret Army experiment to make (the perfect soldier), and was made into a monster, a killing machine with guerilla strength. His one aim in life is to kill the person who tortured him and made him into a monster.

I totally loved this exciting story, felt sorry for Paul and the ending was perfect.
