FINDING YOU is one of the books in the series about a couple of Italian families in a small coastal California town. Carla Candellano, 28 and single, is the subject of this novel. She has recently quit her job as a searcher when she did not find her neighbor's son before he died. Her search dog and puppies are her main interest. Carla's puppies attract the attention of a little girl who has come with her father on a summer vacation. Carla and the father hit it off beautifully but he fears to become involved when his attention should be on his daughter who has not spoken since her mother's death in a car accident. The daughter runs away with Carla's search dog and all Carla's skills are called into play to find the little girl she has come to care about.
KNOWING YOU develops the romance of Stevie Ryan, best friend of Carla Castellano and owner of the local coffee shop. Stevie used to date Carla's brother Nick, a professional football player, until she found him in bed with someone else. Nick's twin brother, Paul, and Stevie get together for a hot night after Carla's wedding. They don't want anyone to find out, especially Stevie because she used to date Nick and Mama Castellano is still trying to match them up. Eventually they have to tell when all hell breaks loose at the Sunday night Castellano dinner.
Great combo for romance lovers and especially those who are reading other books about this town and family by Maureen Child.
