This book was an eye-opener.
I thought I had an idea of what life was like for Muslim women.
My knowledge can only be described as the "tip of the iceberg"
I knew very little.
I can only say - Thank G-d I'm an American.
By the way as usual the author, Geraldine Brooks, leaves not a stone unturned.
