I have some mixed reviews with this book. It was very well written and I really enjoyed the subplots but the main story I thought was lacking. Still, better than Phury's story. I guess what really bothered me was the awkwardness of the love scenes. It seems like Ward likes to make her heroes insecure about sex. That's a bit of a turn off for me. Plus that whole barbed penis thing was weird.
MINOR SPOILER
I loved how JM turned into a bad ass and took Xhex with no feelings. Of course "Lover Mine" will probably be chalk full of sexual insecurities. Get over your butt-rape already JM.
