I swapped for this book because I like Denise Swanson and Elaine Viets. I did read the first story by Nancy Martin but I did not read the last by Victoria Laurie.
All the stories in this book belong to series by the authors. Since I have not read Nancy Martin, I felt like I was hearing a story about a friend of a friend. For the Swanson and Viets stories I am past this point in the series. I wish I had read these short stories back when it came out since I am further along in the series and past some of the life points in these stories.
Nancy Martin story is about the Blackbird sisters and how they get tangled up in a personal shopper murder.
Elaine Viets story is from the Dead End Job series, but this story is a twist and it is told by Helen's landlord Margory.
Denise Swanson story is from the Scumble River series, it takes place during Spring break. This story takes place before Murder of a Smart Cookie.
