The beginning and end of this book were good. The middle was not. The book dragged. The heroine is not believable at all. Who enjoys getting calls from telemarketers? The author lost me with this character trait. As well, from roughly page 10, I could predict the course of the entire book (and I was correct). Gore throws in some funny scenes, but all in all, the book is not great.
