This was an incredible book, probably the best I've ever read. Sara Gruen has such talent in her style of description and had me wrapped from the first few pages. I was completely immersed in the era of the 30's and the dark sadness of the traveling circus. I loved reading Jacob's thoughts in the nursing home and the ending was perfect...
