Dying to Decorate was easy to read and very interesting. In fact, I finished it the same day I started it. I liked it, but I felt like the title did not really reflect what the book is about. The title doesn't reflect the mystery/murder aspect -- and I don't want to give away what this is. The author does a good job of approaching the story in several ways; you hear the beleagured mother's viewpoint, the girls club viewpoint, the Christian viewpoint, a historical view, and finally a senior citizen viewpoint. I don't think I've ever read a book that meshes these all together so well and seamlessly. I wasn't bored - it certainly wasn't the same old plot! I'm looking forward to reading her 2nd in the series, Crime and Clutter.
