Well, I made it through Chapter 16 - 98 pages - DNF. I just couldn't latch on to his rhythm or style of writing.

This is a gory tale and not for the faint of heart.

Jake's "Big Secret" of eating and killing his one and only LOVE and the child she was carrying right after his very first shift meant he didn't deserve to love, and therefore, he decided to remain loveless and wretched. Sounds like a romance novel to me. Well, with the exception of the blood and gore. Jake decides he's had enough "living" and it's time to die, but on his terms.

I really could have liked this storyline, but the rambling on and on and on....it's not for me. No, I won't be picking up the next two in the series. I thought this was THE LAST WEREWOLF any way.....
